Miss Karen has been the Principal of Ledbury Dance Company since April 2006. In 1982 Karen joined the Elizabeth Baker Dance School, during her time as a student she developed a love for teaching dance.
Karen has completed many exams with Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and other examinations in Tap and Modern Theatre Dance with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD)
Karen has also gained qualification in Personal fitness training level 2, Certificate of Ballet Teaching Study’s with the RAD and has become a registered Teacher. Continuing on with her studies, Karen is enrolled on a course to obtain a Specialist Diploma in Mat Pilates. This will enable her to work with Pre-and Post-natel Exercise, common Orthopaedic Conditions and Pilates with Small Equipment. Furthering her knowledge of Ballet, Dance and Pilates she continues to enrol on many courses to develop her skills so as to help all the students to flourish and extend their own personal skills. The most recent course Karen has registered on is Progressive Ballet Technique, where she will be able to give knowlage to her students to be able to gain a better understanding of how to engage the right muscles in order to dance safely and correctly.
Karen has experience working with Primary Schools and Nurseries, teaching dance to both boys and girls. She has helped with producing Christmas shows and year 6 leaver’s plays, P.E. lessons and dance workshop days to coincide with their School projects.
Miss Naomi joined Ledbury Dance Company in 2015, and is enjoying successful classes in Cheerleading, Streetfit, Ballet and Tap dancing. Naomi has become a big part in helping to choreograph many routines for various shows that LDC has been apart of.
Naomi has International Dance Teachers Association bronze, silver and gold levels in both cheerleading and street dance. She also has GCSE's and A-Levels in Dance Studies.
Increasing her repertoire Naomi will be developing Gym Dance and Rhythmic gymnastics classes.
Miss Aj joined LDC in 2007 where she has taught classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre and Streetfit. She has RAD exams in Grade 6, 7, 8 and Intermediate Ballet. ISTD Tap and Modern Dance Exams.
AJ attended the RAD Summer School 2007 and competed in the All England Dance Finals. She has appeared in Panto at Malvern Theatres, A Night at The Musicals and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West End Tours at Malvern Theatres.

Tap Dance - Studying the IDTA and ISTD syllabus's. From 5 years and above.
Streetfit - Studying Street dance from the IDTA syllabus. From 7 years and above.
Cheerleading - Studying the IDTA and British Gymnastics syllabus. From 7 years and above.
Mini Groover's - A combination of many genre of dance for the younger student. From 5 years and above
Gym Dance and Rhythmic gymnastics - Studying the IDTA and BG syllabus. From 5 years and above
Pilates - Studying the Joseph Pilates method.
Progressive Ballet Technique - Studying the program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon.
Over 60's Keep Fit - A light and friendly class that helps to increase stretching and mobility in all who take part regularly to music.
Ledbury Dance Company has its own newly developed studios in Ledbury Town Centre.
The new studios offer us the opportunity to extend classes and create new ones, as well as develop classes in the week.
Ledbury Dance Company offers teachers qualified and experienced in The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

We follow syllabi from these associations and offer exams in Ballet, Tap Dancing, Cheerleading, Street Dancing and Modern Theatre Dance.

As well as the large theatre productions LDC has participated and performed many displays for Ledbury Town Christmas Lights Switch On, Ledbury Town Carnivals, Ledbury Primary School Summer Carnival, Eastnor Cricket Club Summer Fete, Bromsberrow Summer Fete, Much Marcle Steam Rallies and displays at Leadon Bank for the Ledbury Community Day.
Over the years Karen and her friends have been involved in several events. For six years they performed at many events at Prescott Hill Climb in Gotherington, the home to Bugatti Owners Club.
La Vie En Bleu, American Autumn Classic, Ferrari Owners Picnic and Bike Fest supporting the Severn Freewheelers Blood Bikers Charities.

During enrolment at Ledbury Dance Company you will sign and complete a permission form for Photos, films and images. These images, if you have granted authorisation may be used in the Web page, leaflets, newspaper or magazine articles and flyers to advertise the School.
Filming and Photographs are taken during show and lesson times. These images can be purchase form the used Photographer at the time.
Photographs may only be taken by Karen Hall or the professional Photographers who have be granted permission.

Trial Classes – Ledbury Dance Company
A student may take the first class for free, then on a trial basis for up to three weeks.
Should the student decide to join the class, they then pay the balance for the term remaining.
